Social Services Coordinator

We are seeking a well-organised, empathetic people-person. We need someone who is solutions-focused, process-driven and a fabulous facilitator. A background in education or social support is helpful, as is knowledge of local and national support agencies. We need someone who is computer savvy and comfortable working with online databases. An understanding of Te Ao Māori is important and the ability to speak te reo Māori a real advantage.

The role is part of our social services team, primarily as a financial mentor for our Building Financial Capabilities programme. This will involve one-on-one client appointments, as well as group facilitation. We will provide you with comprehensive training, so we don’t expect you to be an expert right now – but you do need to be keen to learn.
